| Here's our cottage...all 500 or so square
feet of it. Robert now has a vegetable garden at the base
of the stone wall. There is a huge natural rock going
down into the pond...one of the features that inspired
us to by the place. |
|
|
| Here is the view from the upstairs loft
window of our tiny cottage. The rose hiding an old trailer
is 'Paul's Himalayan Musk'. When we bought the place is
2001, there was some hedging on both sides of the lot,
but other than the big Spruce tree, it was all lawn. |

| Enter through this old door under a combination
of roses. Watch out for Maddie, one of four cats... she
acts seductively friendly and then chomps on you! |
|
|
| Bog plants such as Gunnera thrive along the stream. |
|
|
| The natural pond overflows into a stream
that runs down through the garden into this mini pond.
The water cover is Azolla which I don't recommend for
a natural pond as it is so very prolific! |

and primulas.
