My first visit to a daylily garden was here. None has
surpassed it since! Van Sellers and Vic santa Lucia
are the best! They are hybridizers with hearts of gold!
They will talk to you and answer every question. Visit
the website...they will never be able to do justice
to their lovely gardens there, but look and drool !
Many of their daylilies have the beautiful eye zones.
They carry a large variety of the late Pauline Henry's
daylilies. You know she was famous for the Siloam varieties
and her latest love was the pinks. You must see Siloam
Pauline Henry, I think it is the perfect pink daylily.
Irongate has a gift shop on the grounds and it is exquisit!
I especially must listen to several of his wind chimes
each visit I make! Many of them are musically tuned,
lovely sounds, and he just laughs when folks go through
touching each to set them off! Heavenly sounds. Their
prices seem a little high but he carries prized lilies
and you can find many that suit a thiner purse. He carries
the newest and the best and does not hesitate to promote
other great hybridizer's works in his catalog. He is
very generous with gifts. Hoping to be able to afford
Siloam organ Music and Siloam Pauline Henry in the future.
Being newer intros, they are beyond my purse strings
just now...sigh and drool...
